Why We Train

At Tiger Fist, we truly believe that training is the beginning of self discovery, personal mastery, and a whole new you…because frankly, that has been the case for many of us.

Many people believe that martial arts is about fighting, but that is only partly true. We do train you to be able to protect yourself, but for hundreds of years, martial arts has been a means of self-discovery, self-improvement, and personal mastery.

How We Train

We believe that it is important to train both realistically and safely.  The old saying "if you can't do it slow, you can't do it fast" is absolutely true. First, doing a movement slow allows the student to see what is actually going on. If students move too quickly, they won't have time to see what is actually going on. 

At times, we need to train our bodies to do movement's quickly. For this, we have the best training equipment money can buy. 

School Atmosphere

Here at Tiger Fist, we are friends. Our school is a community of martial artist who enjoy each other's company. We don't tolerate disrespect, even from higher ranked students.

At our school, we believe in mutual respect and being helpful. We are all on the same journey and we are here to help each other down that path.
